In the application provided by TEP Urban for an initial 10 countries, you can select different thresholds for what does it mean for a settlement to be Rural, Urban or Metropolitan.
You can evaluate the settlements based on the Total population living in the settlement, based on the area of the settlement and based on the number of tweets in the given settlement.
