Lava flows over Etna, Sicily, seen by Sentinel-2 using swir16 data

The Sentinel-2 mission of the Copernicus programme is helping better understand hazards. The multispectral bands of the sensor allow to map volcanic activity with synoptic, up-to-date and spectrally accurate information.
This is illustrated with these compositites using acquisitions from 17 May and 27 March 2022.
