Oaxaca earthquake of 23 June seen by S-1 using the DIAPASON chain of CNES

An earthquake was reported in the Oaxaca region of Mexico occurred on 23 June 2020 at 10:29 local time – with its epicentre located around 12 km southwest of Santa María Zapotitlán. Several powerful aftershocks were registered the same day, with five more recorded in the following 24 hours. The Sentinel-1 pair of 22 and 28 June shows deformation patterns.
